Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival
Two days of festivities pay homage to Ft. Myers Beach's harvest of sweet pink shrimp. This event includes Blessing of the Shrimp Boat Fleet, a parade and the local Lions Club boiling up 1,000 pounds of Florida shrimp! Other activities include a 5K Treasure Run, Kids Run and crowning of the Shrimp Queen.
Taste of the Beach
Watch for the 18th annual Taste of the Beach event at Bay Oaks Recreation in Fort Myers Beach; it's sure to be a fun-filled day of great food, music and good natured competition.
Fort Myers Beach Open Water Festival
During this popular event swimmers from the United States and Canada compete in a variety of races including 5K, 10K, 25 K and World Trials
4th of July Fireworks
See spectacular fireworks over the Gulf of Mexico.
This is one of the largest and most exciting events on Fort Myers Beach, complete with costume contests, food and fun for pirates of all ages. This year’s festival will feature a pirate invasion, fight ring and ship-to-shore battle with black powder cannon and small arms fire!
Entertainment will include pirate crews, actors, storytellers and musicians.
Roy Hobbs Baseball Tournament
Named after the fictional character from the movie The Natural, this league emphasizes competitive play, family activities and community service. The season culminates in the Roy Hobbs World Series. It's an exciting time for fans of "America's Game"!

American Sandsculpting Championship
The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to present this family-friendly festival November 7-11; it's one of the most popular events in all of Florida. The talent of the sculptors combines with the soft, sugar-white sands of Fort Myers Beach to create a visual spectacle that draws approximately 50,000 attendees over the course of five days. The winning sculptor wins an invitation to the world championships.
Christmas Boat Parade
Usually the first Saturday of December, the parade leaves Pink Shell Marina at approximately 6 p.m.; great viewing can be found along the bay at Snug Harbor, Matanzas Inn, Bonita Bill's, the bridge and the Siesta Bay canals.
Fort Myers Beach New Year's Eve Celebration
Celebrate the New Year with music, dancing, food, drink and a spectacular midnight fireworks display.
